Timothy Richards

 Timothy James “Tim” Richards, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 57. His sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who cherished him.

Born on August 19, 1967, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tim was the son of the late Harold and Betty Richards. Growing up in a bustling household, he developed a lifelong love of family, laughter, and sports.

Tim was a devoted husband to his wife of 35 years, Angela Richards. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and their cherished family. A proud father, Tim never missed an opportunity to cheer on his children at their games, recitals, and milestones. He adored his role as “Pop-Pop” to his grandchildren, who brought endless joy to his life.

A skilled craftsman and dedicated worker, Tim spent 17 years as a construction foreman. His work ethic and leadership earned him the respect of his colleagues and community. Tim also found time to enjoy his passions, which included fishing, coaching youth sports, and rooting for his beloved Eagles.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Angela Richards; his children, Matthew Richards (Sophia), Emily Sanders (Jake), and Brian Richards; his grandchildren, Noah, Ella, and Grace; his siblings, Carol Watson (Frank) and David Richards (Tina); and countless nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Betty Richards, and his younger brother, Michael Richards.

A celebration of Tim’s life will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM.

Timothy James Richards will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his work, and his vibrant personality that brought joy to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever celebrated.
